I did!

I just found out I won the *Photo4People emotions contest. I actually won a subscription donated by *Digger36 and a few features. I'm quite proud.

In other news, I'm in the middle of my exams, and the one I had today didn't go that great, so I'm kind of bummed out about that. But I might pass it anyway, we'll see...

I might feature someone here one of these days, now that I have a subscription B)

Clubs:

After what I think must be over 2 years (I'm too lazy to check) I am finally nearing 2000pageviews... kind of sad hehe.

I notice I didn't update my journal in ages. I dont have much to say. I almost never upload new photo's lately cause I haven't been in a creative mood for quite a while. Well, maybe I am, but at the moment I'm into a project building a treasure-island for kreamo, a youth movement (if that is a real term, it's what babelfish told me ) I am in. Maybe I'll post some pictures of it in scraps when it's done, I'm quite proud of it.

School starts again next week, I'm sort of looking forward to being a student again, but that'll probably wear off in about 2 weeks hehe.

I know almost no one reads this, but I want to share it anyway cause I(m happy about it

Today I went to holland to finally buy a normal lense (18-55mm sigma F3.5-5.6) for only 105€! For some reason, things are cheaper in holland, or at least in that store. Over here you pay at least double. A few days ago I was a second hand 18-30mm lense for 100€ in belgium... So I'm better off in holland then hehe

I even got myself a cheapo tripod!! it looks kind of decent though, and it came with a bag! It's a Bilora action line standard II, but for 30€ I just couldnt resist, no matter how crappy (but well, so far, it seems good). it's only 1.1kg and is pretty flexible and portable, it only takes a while to place it, but I'll work on getting better at that hehe.
And last and least I bought a protection bag for my extra lense.

- D50 body (silver.... it was the last one)

Oh and since this morning my exams are finally over, what a day!

It's been a while since my last journal. Since then I joined 2 clubs I would actually like to mention

First is the unseen photographers club. Make sure to visit it!


Second is a rather peculiar club, The indie photography club. I'm not sure yet what indie photography really is, but I know I usually like indie stuff. Definitally worth it to check it out!


And last but not least I just joined the PhotographersClub. I think it's pretty straight-forward what that club is about


That's about it. Not much more to mention. Exams are coming up... (again, they always seem to do that!)
Oh, I got my drivers licence, made me quite happy

I bought a second hand 70-210mm nikor telelens. It was 179€. It's a decent one in metal and glass (unlike of the plastic one I broke...)
It's not an original digital lens, but it works

now I need to find a cheap 18-50mm nikon kitlens on ebay or something, even though I don't like the thought of getting it trough mail... I worked as a mail(wo)man and where they sort out the mail, and they arent gentle with it...
ah well, we'll see, until then I'll just make love to my new telelens
